

A few days ago, i read an article about food menu for an idol group. It's only 1200kcal per day while it should be 2000~2500kcal per day for adult. Everybody got a shock after read the article and felt sorry for them. I understand they are entertainer, so the beauty and body shape is so important for them. However, they are too young to eat only that calories. According to some health research, it is sometimes dangerous for women's bone health if they had dieting hard in their youth. Everyday from waking up to go to bed, we see skinny or slander women on TVs. And I agree that people want to be more beautiful and be looking good and diet to loose weights. But this heavy diet can give bad influence some teenagers or women.
I have seen lots of women taking diet peels in my workplace and others. I don't want to say it is bad but what i learned from it is ... i think it makes people feel bad and sensitive. Once they start to take the peel, they don't want to eat and looks depressed and got some nervous. So i don't recommend to my friends to take one.
The downside of being famous. That is very unhealthy only 1200 calories thats like one entire meal for me throughout my day
ReplyDeleteI really cannot count calories...it is too limiting. In my work place it's the same thing. They find a miracle diet/diet plan or weigh loss plans and every one is on it. Then a couple of months later they all gain the weight back or it's like Mily how can you eat that. Now i'm not skinny but i'm way to scared to take any diet supplements...plus I love food way too much..Now for these stars have you noticed that they keep getting skinnier. Look at the cast of 90210 Although they get slammed for being skinny it's not as much as the others get for being "over weight"

ReplyDeleteAs a guy I would like to mention something to all ladies: please, do not ruin your bodies with diet pills or other hormonal substances, that can potentially have detrimental effects on your health in the future.
Although first impression is important, and I encourage everyone to stay in shape and healthy (I try to follow this motto too) it is also important to do it to the best of your abilities. No need to take extreme measures (obsessing with dieting that it eventually transforms into an eating disorder, or going "Kuku" with plastic surgery).
Honestly, there are a lot of guys (including myself) that find intelligence and personality far more sexier (and I'm talking about looking for someone relationship-wise). And trust me, I'm not trying to spit some bs here, girl who can hold an intelligent conversation, and maybe teach me something new is "golden" in my book. Of course, physical appeal never hurt, but she is not going to be gorgeous 10-15 years down the road...So it should be secondary concern.
To finish off I want to refer to something my father told me when I first started to be interested in sports, that is to focus on "brain muscles" first and then everything else...

Eliza, key point is your metabolism. Try to eat consistently with intervals of about 2-3 hours. It doesn't have to be big meals, could be as simple as an apple.
ReplyDeletePoint is to make your body process/break down food faster and more efficiently. Also doing physical activity is important (running, fast walking, w.e. rocks your boat)
Calories eaten a day should be < Calories burned. Hence you get results...

ReplyDeleteoooh sure, thx.... and thx for the tips, I'll try the 2-3 hour interval meal, now that i'll be home for the winter break!!! oh i tried going to the gym...but i stopped, becuase i didnt want to go by myself. :D
